A boy or a girl? At 74, Alain Finkielkraut (‘The Defeat of the mind’ author, ‘The New Love Disorder’ author) now knows what to expect, if he doesn't want to disappoint fans' expectations. When asked whether they would prefer their favorite philosopher's child to be a boy or a girl, 67% chose a boy, while only 33% picked a girl.
