A boy or a girl? At 65, Abhijit Banerjee (Nobel Prize in Economics 2019) now knows what to expect, if he doesn't want to disappoint fans' expectations. When asked whether they would prefer their favorite economist's child to be a boy or a girl, 55% chose a boy, while only 45% picked a girl.
