A boy or a girl? At 56, Amélie Nothomb (‘The Prince's Act’ author, ‘Fear and Trembling’ author, ‘Hygiene and the Assassin’ author) now knows what to expect, if she doesn't want to disappoint fans' expectations. When asked whether they would prefer their favorite author's child to be a boy or a girl, 78% chose a boy, while only 22% picked a girl.
